Hi guys! In this week’s video, I’m sharing the story of how I became the face of Maybelline at just 17 years old — while I was still a senior in high school.

It all started during a summer trip to the Jersey Shore with my friends. I got a last-minute casting for Glamour magazine, and even though I wanted to stay on vacation, my agency sent me to the shoot — and I’m so glad they did. It ended up being one of my favorite shoots ever, and someone at Maybelline saw the final photos and cast me from there!

I’m also telling the story of flying to Australia for a test shoot, how a makeup artist gave me a bit of tough love, and what it felt like to walk onto set with Christy Turlington and Adriana Lima for the very first time.
