QUICK INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before planting, presoak your plugs and then place them in even rows.
2. To plant with students, give each student 1 to 2 plugs and 5 seeds on a white sheet of paper. Keep in mind what seeds students are getting. Have them carefully insert up to 2 seeds in each plug.
3. Organize the plugs in your tray by seed type. Make sure you have extra plugs on hand with seeds in them in case you need replacements. Loosely cover plugs with vermiculite.
4. Fill the tray to about a quarter to a half an inch of water.
5. Place dome over tray and place light over dome. Turn the light and heat mat on.
6. Keep light on anywhere from 12 to 24 hours a day and refill water when necessary. When away from school for multiple days, close the top tab to keep moisture from escaping the dome.

About our Hydroponics Program:
In 2017, Green Our Planet launched a hydroponics program in partnership with the nonprofit, Los Vaqueros, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Schools use the hydroponics systems to learn more about STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) as well as about nutrition and alternative growing methods.
