People are now offering professional services as "Vibe Coding Cleanup Specialists."
Yes, you read that right. 😅
So what exactly is vibe coding?
It's when developers use AI coding tools like Cursor, Copilot, or ChatGPT and just... vibe with whatever code the AI suggests. No understanding. No validation. Just pure vibes. "Looks good? Ship it!"
And now? Companies are drowning in technical debt and broken code that nobody understands.
Enter: The Cleanup Specialists
These are developers who are literally making a business out of going into codebases and fixing the disasters created by vibe coding. They're advertising on LinkedIn, offering their services to clean up AI-generated messes.
Here's the problem:
→ Developers are treating AI like a magic wand instead of a tool
→ No one's reading or understanding the generated code
→ Testing? Optional. Understanding? Who needs it!
→ Production breaks, tech debt explodes
→ Someone has to fix it... for $$$ 💰
The Real Lesson Here:
AI coding tools are POWERFUL. But they're tools, not replacements for thinking.
You still need to:
✅ Understand what your code does
✅ Know WHY it works
✅ Test everything thoroughly
✅ Review AI suggestions critically
The best developers don't vibe—they THINK.
