remove wire socket first on top. next hose remove. lift it upward then remove lower wire socket. Remember last position arrow up arrow down. i also clean the casing it has some sludge it is like water and rust. try not to hold with dirty hand the new filter that is why i did not remove the plastic. reinstalling is vice versa. last manually pump the fuel before starting engine. Recommended Fuel filter change frequency 20,000km-150,000km mileage.
