Caver FOUND After 54 Hours On The Brink Of Death | Huccacove Cave Tragedy

James May, an arrogant 21-year-old, set out with friends on April 26, 1982, to explore the dangerous HuccaCove cave in Colorado. Overconfident and unprepared, he argued with his friends and went ahead alone. Soon, he became lost in the cold, dark tunnels. Without food, water, and with failing flashlights, panic set in. He burned his belongings to stay warm but eventually collapsed from exhaustion and hypothermia.
His friends raised the alarm too late, and after 54 hours, cave expert Barney Foster found him on the brink of death. He survived, but the experience taught him a harsh lesson in humility.
