Great for multiple cat households! Instead of buying Litter Genie Refill for $7-$8 a pop, and have it ran out in no time, you can make your own refill bag and save tons of money in the long run. Especially if you have multiple cats at home (We have 7)

Things You'll Need:

1x Litter Genie https://amzn.to/2M4UDzM
1x Used-up Litter Genie Refill (If you buy a Litter Genie they usually comes with 1 refill included) or buy the aftermarket refill here:    • Is This The Best Aftermarket Litter G...  
1x 13 Gallon Tall Trash Bag (buy bulk from any supermarkets or online) https://amzn.to/2OKvA3s

How:

- Expand the 13 Gallon trash bag.
- Pass the trash bag through the center of the refill holder and wrap over the holder completely
- Place the refill back into Litter Genie, close it properly, and enjoy!

The advantage of "make your own" refill:

Saves a ton of money, especially if you have multiple cats
Larger hold volume compared to original refill, which translates to longer replacement interval
Works just as good as the original refill, no odors once the genie is closed properly

The disadvantage:

Longer refill replacement time (ie. less convenient)
Slightly more messy (since some litter may fall down under the gaps everytime you replace the old bag)
