Brian Smalley "Sailing"

Описание к видео Brian Smalley "Sailing"

Remember yesterday’s tune? (Hint: it rhymes with “Dickie, Don’t Lose That Lumber.”) Well, the piano player on the original recording from 1980 was a fella named Michael Omartian, and lo & behold, he is the piano player on this one too: “Sailing,” by Christopher Cross. Omartian not only tinkled the ivories, but he wrote the original arrangement, plus produced the whole album! Talk about your overachievers! It is a magical, mystical song, and it truly can “… take me away…” However, when it comes to saying, “ … it’s not far back to sanity…” …well, I don’t have a clue as to what Cross is talkin’ ‘bout. Sanity is over-rated!
