Josh Gordon Traded to Patriots from Browns. The Cleveland Browns parted ways with wide receiver Josh Gordon after he showed up late to practice Saturday and “was not himself” to The New England Patriots for a 5th round draft pick, uniting him with Tom Brady & Bill Belichick.

Unless you’re a Patriots fan, you hate this move. Why would John Dorsey trade Josh Gordon, a talent so special, that if it comes together he will become the biggest weapon the Patriots offense has had since Randy Moss was traded to them from the Oakland Raiders? The Browns have Jarvis Landry to catch passes from Tyrod Taylor, and or Baker Mayfield, but traded Gordon away and could not convince Dez Bryant to sign with them. All Dorsey had to do was wait for a better offer, and not trade Flash Gordon to the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals or THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS! New England will have Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon, Chris Hogan, & Phillip Dorsett to win games and dominate the AFC East, and probably AFC now. Bill Belichick did release WR Corey Coleman to make room for Gordon. A bit ironic because the Browns traded Coleman to the Buffalo Bills in August, then the Bills cut him, before NE signed the receiver. Gordon still has a lot to prove with everything he has going off the field, but if he has his stuff together this is a slam dunk for the Patriots. If not he could be banned from the NFL with another slipup.
