Monty’s first taste of cross country!!

Monty is an unusual combination of bloodlines for our job, and has come to us to expand his educational base! By the ever famous Glock Totas Jr x Jazz, he is undoubtedly got the best moving bloodlines my yard has ever seen!

Up until now, Monty has been produced as a dressage horse by a young rider, and has done very well up the levels so far…

He was top 10 in the Nexgen 4 year old Dressage horse Championship
6th in the BD Young Horse Championship
5th in the Novice Gold Freestyle Regionals
Qualified Medium Regionals 2024.

We are giving him a bit of fun, outside the arena and in, and he has really enjoyed starting his jumping!!! This is all working toward him being a stronger horse in mind and body, and as he is showing us how fabulous his jump is going to be- he could turn into an absolute SMASHER of an Event Horse!!! I’m not saying he’s going to be a 5* winner, but he could certainly be produced to GREAT success on the International Circuit!!

He is a work in progress, especially with the jumping… and his price reflects this. He could be a VERY exciting toy for someone with experience of very intelligent horses with incredible engines!!
