There are 4 training modalities in TESDA

1. School-Based Programs
2. Center-Based Programs
3. Community-Based Programs
4. Enterprise-Based Programs


SCHOOL BASED TRAINING program in TESDA
This refers to the direct delivery or provision of TVET
programs by the TESDA-administered schools.

CENTER-BASED TRAINING PROGRAM This refers to the technical
vocational programs that are being delivered to remote training
centers nationwide

COMMUNITY-BASED TRAINING Program is a training primarily addressed to
the poor and marginal groups, those who cannot access, or are
not accessible by formal training provisions. They have
low skills, limited management abilities, and have few
economic options.

ENTERPRISE-BASED TRAINING Programs are training programs being implemented
within companies/firms. These programs can be any of the
following: Apprenticeship Program is a training and employment
a program involving a contract between an apprentice and an
employer on an approved apprentice-able occupation.

Levels of National Certificates

National Certificate I. Performs routine and predictable tasks
National Certificate II. Performs a prescribed range of
functions involving known routines and procedures
National Certificate III. Serves a wide range of skills
National Certificate IV. Serves a wide range of applications

Tesda Online Program

TESDA Online Program (TOP) is a web-based platform that offers
free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for the technical
education and skills development of Filipino workers.

Through the use of information and communication technologies,
the TOP provides an effective and efficient way to deliver
technical-vocational education and training at the learner’s
own space and time

The TOP is available for blended learning through the
Multi-Regional TESDA Online Program (MRTOP) offered by
TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs)

How to Apply for TESDA Scholarship Online With Allowance 2023



Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is
offering Skills Training and Scholarship programs in 2023.
Interested applicants should apply online to avail of the
scholarship programs under the Technical Vocational Education
and Training (TVET).

There are four (4) available scholarships that TESDA is currently
offering: Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education
(UAQTEA), the Training for Work Scholarship Programs (TWSP),
Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA),
Special Training for Employed Program (STEP).

Applicants need to meet the minimum requirements to be accepted
in the respective program. When you are approved for the
scholarship some of the benefits that you will receive may
include a book allowance, student allowance of 160 pesos per day,
free uniform, free training, and free assessment.
This depends on the type of scholarship that you are
qualified for.
