The new Junk Rift item is part of the content update 10.10 and can be found as Floor Loot in Chests, Supply Drops, Vending Machines and Llamas.

The Junk Rift can drop a car, dinosaur, toilet or anchor. A direct hit deals 200 damage making it an instant out. The shockwave from the impact also deals 100 damage.
