Create this braid by individually twisting each strand before twisting them together.

How to create a rope braid:

• Take a section of hair where you want to create the braid.
• Take a horizontal subsection from the top and split it in half vertically.
• Starting with the right section, twist the hair to the right in a clockwise motion 1-3 times, then cross the hair over the left strand. The left strand then becomes the right.
• Take a horizontal subsection the width of the section and add it to the right strand. Twist that section to the right in a clockwise motion 1-3 times, then cross it over the left strand.
• Continue this motion until you reach the end of the section. Secure with an elastic.
