Over the past several years, worldwide we’ve experienced a series of major disruptions in our lives and in our industry. You weren’t imagining it – many choices about our jobs and the structure of our work were genuinely outside of our control. In the face of such tumult and change, it’s easy to fear that we lack agency, choice, and ideal options for the future of our careers.

However, there is one thing that we can control: confidence in our skills, expertise, and value. It turns out that developing our career confidence can become a superpower to help us move from reactivity to resiliency. Instead of looking outside of ourselves for direction, we need to start with looking at ourselves and becoming more of who we are.

In this experiential talk, we’ll learn how to grow career confidence through powerful practices like transforming self-talk, focusing on your strengths and successes instead of weaknesses, following curiosity and learning new things, collaboration, and sharing your knowledge.
