For the 13th edition of the dream match, the pros from Germany's record-breaking champions ran onto the pitch and were greeted with thunderous applause by the “Red Eagles Austria” and their fans. What followed was an afternoon full of warmth, goal celebrations, and fan moments – a celebration that will remain in the memories of players and supporters alike. In front of 5,000 spectators at the Gurgltalstadion, head coach Vincent Kompany's team beat the 25-strong fan club selection 1-3 (0-1), rounding off a perfect red-and-white soccer weekend one day after their resounding 6-0 victory in the Bundesliga opener against RB Leipzig.
