After a full working weeks worth of light engine running, no 32424 ‘Beachy Head’ is coming on leaps and bounds as she is now deemed ready to start running loaded run tests. Hauling a set of blood and custards, usually used for Wealden Rambler services, she matched the look well and seemed to fit snugly into place here in Sussex.

Making two return trips up the full length of the line, we actually get to hear ‘Beachy Head’ work her hardest up the steep gradients the bluebell possesses however, it’s worth noting that I probably won’t film her again until she starts publicly running, all while rubbing shoulders with ‘Sir Archibald Sinclair’ who continues her fine work after returning to service last month.
