Yamaha YFZ450R Oil and Filter Change DIY

This is a step by step tutorial on how to change the oil and oil filter in your 2014-2024(Current Year) Yamaha YFZ450R. Other years may be the same as well. Take the time to make sure your machine is clean before doing your oil change. Working with a clean machine is much nicer than a dirty machine. Feel free to skip through to sections of the video as needed, I went in depth with everything so it makes it easy for anyone to complete this themselves.

Oil Filter Part Number: 5D3-13440-09

I bought 2 quarts of Yamalube SAE 10W-40 4T Engine Oil which is a full synthetic high performance oil from Yamaha. Feel free to use any oil you prefer as the steps needed to complete this remain the same.
