Trains at: Queenstown Road (Battersea), SWML, 30/11/19

A very enjoyable afternoon session spent at Queenstown Road on the South Western Mainline where we see plenty of services from South Western Railway, Southern and Southeastern.

The station was opened in 1877 by the London and South Western Railway and really hasn't changed all that much, platform 1 has been closed for a long old while now but Network Rail have expressed an interest in reopening the platform for the Windsor and Eton trains which allow for greater ease of access for trains running into London Waterloo.

The station sits inbetween 2 flyover, the Brighton mainline carrying trains into and out of London Victoria and South Eastern Mainline doing the same job.
