Mark Chatterton interviews Peter Banks, the founder member and keyboard player of After The Fire. In the interview Peter talks about the history of the band from a three piece in 1971, through their progressive rock days to developing into a new wave band in the late 70s. He mentions how they were dropped from appearing on Top of the Pops at the last minute, how their second album for CBS was rejected at first and playing in Belfast at the height of "the Troubles". Peter also talks about being on tour with Queen, ELO and Van Halen in the 80s and how "Der Kommissar" gave them a worldwide hit after the band had broken up.
