We are delighted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Computacenter’s sponsorship of fire investigation (FI) dogs with Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service. This special partnership was celebrated in style with a guest appearance by serving FI dog Loki and a look back at the amazing dogs in service during the partnership, including Browza, CC, Thor, and the much loved and missed Reqs.

FI dogs are trained to detect substances which can start fires, and have been involved in a number of high-profile investigations, including fatal fires, murder and attempted murder investigations helping to secure convictions.

Work undertaken by FI dog Reqs alone resulted in a combined total of over 250 years of imprisonment for convicted offenders.

Our sponsorship ensures the dogs receive regular training to maintain their skills and with Labradors being very well known for their huge appetites, food distraction training is important!

We are incredibly proud to have supported such an innovative and worthy cause for such a long time and hope it continues well into the future.
