Young lawyers and law students, the most powerful way to improve in litigation advocacy, that I have learned, if you have a senior, a friend, or a colleague, whose file you are able to read, while reading the file, you should always think, if I had to argue this matter, then how would I have prepared it? You will anticipate that the opponent, the other party, what kind of argument they will make, you will try to anticipate that what will be the questions of the judge in such a situation. You do all this preparation, after that when your senior or your colleague is going to argue that matter in court, you compare that what you thought would happen, and what actually happened, how much difference was there in that? And every time you try to keep that difference as less as possible. When it becomes completely negligible, you are a full-fledged superstar advocate.
