Super Monkey Ball Deluxe in SMB2 - World 10: Dr. Bad-Boon's Base

This is it! The last world in Story Mode. Frankly, I consider this set pretty underwhelming. The most difficult in this set is probably Carpet, and Ridge and Checker can be hard too (the warp goals are much harder than the blue one). Metamorphosis is the final Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball 1, and though I clearly have a hitting the goalposts problem, it's not too hard.


Otherwise, this set is pretty easy. The Super Monkey Ball 2 engine is not the same as Super Monkey Ball 1, so stages like Stairs and Mixer are easier in this game than the original. On Rings I got distracted by my cellphone, so the play got sloppy, but it isn't particularly difficult. Clover you have to go fast, and Coffee Cup is easier than it looks.


That's it for Story Mode! I will likely make more videos for this mod, but for now I have the opposing set, the original Super Monkey Ball 2 levels to upload. The Xbox/PS2 version of Deluxe gave you 20 stages to choose from, 10 being the set in these videos and 10 being the SMB2 stages. I'm going to showcase them all.
