🇰🇷 Baduk/🇨🇳 Weiqi/🇯🇵 Go is an abstract strategy board game for two players, was invented in China more than 2,500 years ago. The aim of the game is to surround more territory than the opponent.

A variation of the Elo rating system called Whole History Rating (WHR), differs from standard Elo in that it retroactively re-rates players based on their entire history after each new result is added, rather than incrementally changing a player's rating on a game-by-game basis. The website goratings.org implements the WHR method to calculate global player rankings.
