A tragic and wrathful opera rising from the depths of betrayal. Nun descends into the nine hells only to return with divine vengeance, turning damnation into power.

The lyrics were inspired by Dante’s Inferno and follow the terza rima poetic form.
Originally, the story was meant to follow a disgraced knight returning from hell, but along the way the character transformed into a nun. In my opinion, that made it far cooler.

She lost her honor, laid her head with no fear
and promised to return a righteous queen.
While laughter hushed, the sister wept her final tear.

Who dares to kill his guest deserves the hell’s lowest wing
To bear the noble seed is sister’s pride
For only kings have power to name the sin

Now blinded by the flood of tears, no guide.
Alongside all the greatest traitors below,
the ninth circle where icy tears never fade.

[2. Purgatorio]
While she was alive, she never broke her vow.
Even death could not dim her glowing word.
She tore her head from death to make it now.

Traitors! Rise with me from depths to light above.
Smear venom fresh upon your traitor tongues!
Our wrath shall burn those whom God once loved.

Lucifer breathed through his cold and frozen lungs
He smiled, for rest had finally come to him
An army of traitors climbed the laddered rungs

[3. Paradise]
Kings sat in silence in their hollow halls,
when the dead began to rise from broken graves,
to build a paradise free from walls

As royal halls were shattered by wrathful waves
The nobles prayed for rightful hands to save
After all, they all are merely God's slaves

I vow to follow all the laws God gave
I am the queen of all nine deepest hells
You are my honored guest, whom I shall serve
