A 25-year-old soldier, who had come back home on leave, was kidnapped from his vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district, his family claimed. Javed Ahmad Wani is a resident of the Achathal area of Kulgam district.
Javed Ahmad Wani, an Indian Army personnel, was reportedly posted in Leh (Ladakh) and went missing around 8 pm on Saturday. His car was found in Paranhall later last evening. A massive search operation has been launched by the Indian Army and police to trace the abducted soldier. The area has been cordoned off.
