The two possible endings you can get in the series finale of 'Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse Remastered'. In order to get one of the two endings, either select "Recall Adventuring" or "Recall Crime Fighting" after exiting the cerebral room with the narrator.

For the Sam & Max series, I try to exhaust every dialogue option possible as well as find unique interactions that will give you special dialogue from characters. This is why my video walkthroughs are longer than other content creator's uploads.
