RUMINATIONS: Two things were intended to happen before we got to this point that didn’t. The first was something that existed up until the actual writing for the storyline was supposed to happen, then had to be dropped since I just couldn’t think of anything meaningful to do with it. It was a fantasy warrior who, like the obstacles in Suburban Knights, would stand in Linkara’s way and keep him from advancing… and Linkara would just easily fight him off and continue on, only for him to come back and help the guy once Linkara had his self-reflrection. It was going to be played by Lanipator of TeamFourStar, inspired by a brief bit in the Doom comic review where he dressed as kind of a half-baked fantasy warrior before being shot down.

The other thing that got dropped, especially because it was unnecessary, was Linkara getting word about Aplos the wizard from a witch he would encounter, one in constant contemplation and wearing traditional sorcery robes and whatnot. She would have been played by Amethyst, the voice for Nimue, and possibly in her Rita Repulsa cosplay. I dropped it since we didn’t have much time to do it as the storyline was being done week to week, plus it really wasn’t necessary – all that would be done is worldbuilding… which is handled slightly better with Aplos, anyway. The only thing left over from that is his mentioning a sorceress who refuses to get with the times and live in the real world.
