Every day, I have SO much to share, and I’m honestly so grateful that God gave me this platform to chat with all of you!

So, I’ve been married for 31 years (yes, 31!). When I got married, I got the most gorgeous sarees from both my mom and my mother-in-law. Both of them gifted me these beautiful Bandini sarees—so pretty! But guess what? No one told me how to actually take care of them. Like, how do you iron them? How do you keep them looking nice? Nope, not a word!

Cut to: My sister-in-law’s engagement. The theme was Bandini, so obviously, I had to wear my special Bandini saree—especially the one my mother-in-law gave me (gotta impress, right?). I was so particular about my sarees that I never let anyone else iron them. So, I ironed the whole thing myself. And when I say “whole thing,” I mean… the WHOLE thing, crinkles and all.

I walk into the Myra function, feeling all fancy, and my mother-in-law sees me. She literally had tears in her eyes—because she immediately saw the disaster I’d made! Turns out, you’re NOT supposed to iron out the crinkles in a Bandini saree. Oops! No one told me!

I still have that saree, and every time I see it in my wardrobe, I remember that day and just laugh at myself.

But don’t worry—you won’t make the same mistake! In today’s video, I’m sharing ALL the tips you need to know about ironing your Bandini saree (so you don’t end up like me 😂).
