Fallout 3 Crash Fix (2024)

How to fix Fallout 3 crashing on start-up (should work for any version of Windows) post Bethesda patch for those who have a GPU as well as integrated CPU graphics, if your unmodded game is crashing on start-up in 2023 this is most likely why.
If you are still experiencing problems you can also try running the game in compatibility mode for windows XP service pack 3 and in administrator mode however from my experiences this won't do anything and your best bet is to install A Tale of Two Wastelands mod which runs Fallout 3 inside Fallout New Vegas if the fix I show you still isn't working.
