Travel Journal: Chiang Mai 2019

Being unable to travel abroad during the pandemic has been a great help towards my attempts at completing my long overdue travel journals. I miraculously met my target by completing my 2018 travel journals last year, and now I’m turning my attention to my 2019 trips. Sure, they’re three years behind schedule, but that’s ok. I doubt I’ll finish them all this year, but I’ll try my best!

This is my first time using the Traveler’s Notebook Kraft 014 insert, and I have to admit, I am not loving it. The writing experience wasn’t very smooth with a Lamy Safari M nib although using Mont Blanc’s Mystery Black (which is a pretty dry ink) probably didn’t help the situation. While I like the colour of the pages, I’ll need a juicier nib or ink to enjoy writing on it. If that doesn’t work, I might have to resort to using a regular pen *gasp*! Unfortunately, I have a few more of these inserts so I’m going to have to use them up soon and remember not to buy them anymore.

I hope you enjoyed my little trip to Chiang Mai. Can you believe it was only two nights long? Yeah, I always do too much on my trips and try to shove everything into my travel journal. Thank you for watching!
