Sahastradhara is about 11 km from the city of Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. And nearby Dehradun railway station is 14 kilometers from it. Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport is located 36 KM from here. From this airport, you reach this place in 2 hours.
After reaching here, you get a 9-meter deep waterfall. Where you will experience a wonderful view, ie these water currents coming out of the mouth of the caves. This is the beginning of the process of natural caves. Because of these streams flowing here, this place is known as Sahastradhara. Thousands of people come here every year to avoid the heat in summer. There are mainly 7 caves here, the most popular of which is Drona Cave.
Let me tell you that this place is also known as Drona Cave Temple. It is said that Guru Dronacharya did penance of Lord Shankar at this place. Here in the temple photo is believed to be drawn, but when you go to this cave, you will get to see countless Shivling together.
You must know the fact that the skin problem is cured by sulfur-rich water channels. Here, sulfur in water is also found in abundance, due to which the skin problem is cured.
Artificial small waterfalls have also been built at some places to attract tourists here.
