Make your own Wet Felt Hat Block

Timelapse showing the process to make a craft foam hat block for wet felting. I have used only a carving knife, sandpaper & a sanding block to show that almost anyone could make their own serviceable custom hat block with the simplest of tools - if you do have access to more tools then it makes sense to use them! The rigid craft foam works well as a wet felt hat block and will last well providing reasonable care is taken. Total time to make this was around 40 minutes, although it will be worth taking more time if you are not used to such tasks. once you have carved the initial shape the process feels a bit like felting!
