2. Can only the first Pokémon on each route
3. Nickname all Pokémon
4. No items in battle (held items ok)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
7. Must fight all optional Hoenn gym leaders
8. No stat boost moves
9. EVs removed from all Pokémon
10. No weather moves and abilities
11. Substitute banned
12. Encore banned
