The Union health ministry on Monday said that the state governments have been asked to create a dashboard to give real-time information on the available Covid-dedicated facilities, like hospital beds and ambulances or other transport vehicles in the state.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, the officials said that the state governments have also been asked to focus on developing additional health care facilities in districts reporting a high volume of Covid-19 cases.
The health ministry officials informed that there are eight states in India with over one lakh active cases. These states include Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
