Climate change is real and we need to do something about it. However, the green path forward to a majority wind, solar, and battery world does not add up. They require massive amounts of land, water, steel, concrete, glass, copper, and precious metals, with much of that impact having to be repeated every 20 years. It is just not a sustainable plan to provide energy to the planet for the life of man. The bottom line is that if we want carbon free energy that we can rely on, nuclear and/or natural gas with carbon capture HAVE to be a major part of the energy mix. Here's the math proving the point.
