Dead Nation is a different beast than my initial impression. What appears as a frantic twin stick shooter, is, actually a very methodical game, in which resource management and careful planning are the way you have to approach this game. There is no much room for improvisation here. You just have to know the exact waves of enemies, their spawn points, and when they spawn, in order to have a chance to survive, especially on Undead Difficulty, where the game is relentless. The whole game is build around ambushes, and you repeating each level over and over, in order to learn them by heart and be prepared beforehand. The campaign even moreso than arcade mode. I may make a full run of the whole campaign on Undead in one sitting without dying in the near future, so stay tuned!
