Bachmann Large Scale Jackson Sharp Passenger Cars - D&RG Review

So earlier this year I finally got around to purchasing the matching passenger stock for my 1:20.3 Raton model. Some complications with shipping resulted in me getting one of these cars later than I had originally planned, and therefore the review had to be put on hold. Finally though here it is.

Both Jackson Sharp models are updated versions of the originals that Bachmann did years ago. These updated models feature track powered lighting, unlike the previous ones which relied on a 9 volt battery hidden underneath. The units have also been updated with metal handrails, which are much sturdier and better looking than the original plastic ones.

The only thing I'm a little disappointing with on these models has to be the way Bachmann did the power pickups. As you'll see in this review, I found this to be an issue and showed my way of fixing the problems I was encountering. In all though these models are very night and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for some Large Scale Jackson Sharp passenger cars on your indoor or outdoor railroad.
