On December 15, 2022, we celebrated the winners of the inaugural Girls for Tech Innovators Competition. This transformative initiative trained 1,200 girls in various digital skills, equipping them to become employable, entrepreneurial, and change-makers in their communities. Over several months, our dedicated stakeholders and teachers delivered training using a well-structured curriculum, workbook, and online content.

The competition culminated in the recognition of over 50 girls who received cash prizes for reaching the finals. Additionally, 50 teachers were trained on the 1 Million Teachers platform, further amplifying the program's impact. We were inspired by the innovative ideas presented by the girls, showcasing their potential as future leaders and innovators.

Looking ahead, we aim to expand the program by training even more girls and hosting another competition this year. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters, including 1 Million Teachers, Girl Rising, and the Kaduna State Ministry of Education, for their invaluable contributions to this impactful project.
