October 24, 2025, in Santee, California, at the ribbon-cutting featuring the Santee Fire Department's newest interim station in the southwestern part of the city, Station 20. This new station will provide the community with a dedicated fire station and faster response time. Fire Chief Harley Wallace, promoted to chief in August 2025, speaks and cuts the red ribbon officially introducing the newest station. This station is an interim station with plans to build a permanent station in the future.


It is a modern, manufactured building with three bunk rooms, a large kitchen, a living room, and ample storage. Engine 20 will be stationed at the station.


Santee welcomed this newest addition to the community's safety.
