Robert Hood (born 1965) is an American electronic music producer and DJ from Detroit. He is a founding member of the group Underground Resistance as a 'Minister of Information' with Mad Mike Banks and Jeff Mills. He is often considered to be one of the founders of minimal techno. In 1994, Hood founded the minimal techno label M-Plant in Detroit.

Logistic Records, founded in 1995 in Montpellier, France by Alexandre Petit and Éric Dalbin, is an influential independent electronic music label dedicated to techno and house. With a catalog of nearly 200 releases, the label has worked with pioneers like Robert Hood, Daniel Bell, Atom Heart, and James Taylor, while also nurturing talents such as John Thomas, Ark, Cabanne, and Bruno Pronsato.
