Union Pacific AC44CW 6706 is the last active unit on the roster that still wears the green and yellow of the Chicago & Northwestern. The last time I saw one of these units in CNW paint was over 8 years ago when I didn't know anything about what I was doing and recorded in portrait and all that. Today, I got redemption as UP MPRNL had 6706 leading down the Salem Subdivision. After work I drove on over to go chase it a little bit from St Elmo to St Peter. UP 6706 was leading a fresh C44ACM rebuilt from a C44-9W that was alos a CNW unit, technically making this a CNW pair. Enjoy!
