Out of all the kingdoms in super mario odyssey, the one that might just be the most unique is the lost kingdom, otherwise known as the forgotten isles. Unlike every other kingdom in smo, the lost kingdom does not really contain any sort of story. In today’s episode of level by level I’m going to analyze the aesthetic, level design, story, moons and how the lost kingdom creates its theme of a forgotten kingdom and why the lack of story actually helps it.
