LINER NOTES:
The last few years haven't been the easiest for Crimson Falls. Going from a nice label promising us to be rising, but never backing up their words, to a lot of cancelled opportunities & a series of line-up changes. After our original drummer's departure for instance we played shows with four different drummers. Every time we had to start over, building up a new set from scratch, always new delays in the song-writing for a new album... And still, there was never any hesitation, we always kept going, we always knew the new cd would get there. So here it is; enjoy. We wrote it through good and bad, but never gave up. This way the band is a nice metaphor for our personal lives. Life ain't always easy, we make mistakes, loose track, turn wrong at the crossroads & the worst things in life come free to us. But this doesn't mean we give up. We keep going. Believe in yourself & trust in those who truly stand by you. And through good and bad you can always find strength in music. Lots of bands and artists influenced this song: Blood For Blood, Winds Of Plague, Emmure, Eminem, Johnny Cash... Or the way Madball used to put it: "Life's hard, a struggle sometimes. But in the end I'll get what's mine." (taken from 'Pride') That's how it is.
