Ibanez Musician MC924 1982 Japan - a short demo

Описание к видео Ibanez Musician MC924 1982 Japan - a short demo

A brief demo of the sounds of the Ibanez Musician MC 924 bass made in Japan in 1982.

The bass was recorded via PreSonus Studio 68c card directly into the OBS software without any effects, equalization, compression, normalisation or postprocessing. This is the most clean sound I was able to get directly from the instrument.

0:00-4:10 passive mode
from 4:10 active preamp switched on with +30% bass, +30% treble, +0% mids

Technical details and comments:
Through neck laminated from five layers of maple/walnut. Wings mate of ash center and mahogany. Passive mode with volume, pickup balance and tone control. Miniswitch for active electronics with a 3-way equalizer. Ibanez Super P + Ibanez Super J pickups. Weight approx. 4.4 kg. Currently strung with flat wounds of unknown brand.

Very hot output even in passive mode, I had to turn down the gain on the sound card significantly. Huge, fat and full massive sound, fun to play such an amazing instrument.
