Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar discusses the rediscovery of fragments from the original Somnath Jyotirlinga, which was attacked and broken by Muhammad Ghazni in 1026 CE. After the destruction, priests salvaged the broken pieces, converted them into smaller Shivlings, and secretly preserved them for nearly a thousand years across generations. Following instructions from a saint in 1924 to keep them hidden for 100 years, the custodians finally revealed and handed over the fragments in January 2025 in Bangalore.

These Shivling fragments possess extraordinary properties, including a powerful magnetic field measuring 140 gauss centered within the stone rather than at poles. Scientists who examined the fragments suggest they might be of extraterrestrial origin, as no similar material has been found on Earth. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar discusses plans to take these fragments to all twelve Jyotirlingas across India before potentially reinstating them at Somnath Temple, noting that the reappearance coincides with other significant spiritual events like the Ram Mandir establishment. This heralds a revival of Dharma across the country.
