Over G Fighters Arena • F-16C Showcase (F-2A Big Boss Battle)

I think this could be interesting - looking at each aircraft from Over-G Fighters in Arena Mode. Let me know if you would like to see more videos like this one in the comments.

First up is the F-16C Falcon (called Viper by its pilots) - this one was initially seen in first Energy Airforce game for PS2. Seems like the version presented here is the early version of Block 52 (PW engine) from the 90s - the MFDs are still monochromatic.

Since it's multirole it can carry a wide assortment of munitions - from AA missiles, dumb and guided bombs, guided AG missiles, anti-radar missiles and more. It's pretty capable but there are plenty of better aircraft in Over G Fighters. The lack of AIM-9X and JHMCS is its disadvantage, but it's fixed with the F-16A MLU variant which will be looked at in the next video.

As a bonus there is a fight with Big Boss at the end - with the Japanese developed F-2 which was based on F-16.

This is running on Xenia - there are still few issues, like z-fighting on the textures near the airports, but otherwise it runs pretty good.
