You can have your signature set to default and be automatically added to each outgoing message (for a quick and easy permanent signature) or you can create a number of signatures that you can choose from each time you write an email.

You can add a signature to your emails in Gmail by following these steps:

Log in to your Gmail account.
Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select "Settings".
Select the "General" tab.
Scroll down to the "Signature" section.
Click on the "Create new" button to create a new signature.
Type in your signature in the text box and add text, links, images, a logo, or whatever else you want.
Use the formatting options to adjust the appearance of the signature.
Once you are satisfied with your signature, click on the "Save Changes" button.
You can also set the default signature for all emails, or you can set a specific signature for a specific email address.

It's important to note that you can also add a signature in the mobile app, by following the same steps. Also, you can add a signature to your reply and forward emails by enabling the option in the settings.
