To set up the Contest Timer first we need to plug the wall transformer in to a power strip or wall outlet. Then twist and screw the connection for the Contest Timer Mushroom Buttons, to the back of the display. We have three mushroom buttons for the contest timer, one for each contestant and one for the moderator. Each contestant button (Red) works independently with their individual displays. The mushroom buttons are large and easy to operate.

The Green Button is for the moderator and will start the contest timer. It can be starting in seconds or hundredths of seconds as you desire. This contest timer can be used for many different events. When either the contestant has completed their activity they hit the red stop button. Each display will show the individual contest time.

The moderator can use the green mushroom button to reset the time back to zero for your next contest. Once again the moderator will press the green start button to begin the next contest timer event. Once again to review, each contestant will hit the red mushroom button to end their individual contest timer and each display will show each contestants individual times.

This contest timer setup can be use with multiple contestants more than just the two we are displaying in this example.

It can be used for counting in manufacturing as well. For example, how much time does it take to pack a box. Or move a cart from one place to another or many other uses if you use your imagination.

Timers can be used in a variety of ways to increase efficiency. Timing is a good way to discover just how well you are proceeding with a variety of tasks.
