Dance Unit Gala 2025 – A Celebration of Global Movement and Creativity

This year's Dance Unit Gala, held on May 3rd in Oberhausen, Germany, was a vibrant testament to the unifying power of dance. With the inspiring motto "Never miss a chance to dance", the event brought together participants from 10 countries, creating an unforgettable four-day celebration of rhythm, expression, and unity.
Out of over 920 submissions, only 32 exceptional pieces were selected to grace the Gala stage. These performances were chosen not for their competition rankings but for their originality and distinctive artistic voice.
An international jury, comprising esteemed figures from the global dance community, evaluated the performances and awarded grants and special prizes to the most outstanding acts. The Dance Unit Gala stands out for its dedication to fostering collaboration and lifelong friendships among dancers of all levels. By encouraging participants to learn from one another and embrace diverse styles, the Gala embodies the spirit of unity and growth within the dance community.
