How to contain material spillage on conveyor systems

Spillage problems effect your productivity potential. It creates clean-up labour costs, belt tracking issues, belt component failure and which can all lead to physical injury. Diseases such as silicosis are still common in areas where uncontrolled dust is present.

Using a conventional steel hard skirt alone, positioned just above the conveyor belt, is insufficient in controlling the high internal chute pressure and the load will become unstable very quickly.

The solution is the combined use of the K-Containment Seal as well as the K-Snap Loc Dust Seal polyurethane skirting.

When used together, the K-Containment Seal with K-Snap-Loc will contain more material more effectively, on all belt widths and applications including wet, sticky, high abrasion, chemical and heat resistant requirements, as well as FRAS. Special low friction/high heat resistant formulas can also be used for extreme belt speeds.
