SABER PLUGIN DISCONTINUED! Hope, this is a headline we'll never ever read. Because it's really a handy plugin. But what if? I would call Andrew Kramer from Videocopilot personally ;)

A lot of After Effects plugins have been discontinued in the past. That was sometimes the case when After Effects got major updates.

But luckily you can recreate the Saber Plugin. And I dare to say that you can recreate every parameter of Saber. 100% After Effects. No Plugins!

In this After Effects 2020 Tutorial I'm gonna show you which combination of built-in effects I used to get a glow effect as close as possible.

By the way I make use of the new Taper Stroke option in After Effects 2020.
